Terms,
in plain words.

Draft

This is a plain-language draft awaiting legal review. It is not yet final and may change before Revive's public release.

These terms cover your use of the Revive app and this website. By installing Revive or buying a licence you agree to them. Questions go to hello@revive.example.

1. The app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to install and use Revive on Windows PCs you own or control. Everyday mode is free. Creator and Developer mode need a licence after a 14-day free trial. Work / IT use is covered by a separate order with your organisation.

2. Licences

  • A licence unlocks one mode and can be active on up to 2 PCs at the same time.
  • Licences are billed yearly and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
  • Don't share, resell or try to get around licence limits.
  • Updates released while your licence is active are included.

3. Payments and refunds

Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and their buyer terms also apply to the purchase. Prices are shown on the pricing page and taxes are added where required. If you're not happy, ask within 14 days of a purchase or renewal for a full refund.

4. What Revive does to your PC

Revive changes system settings, startup items, services and temporary files to improve performance. It makes a Windows restore point first whenever Windows allows one (System Restore must be on), records each change, and offers an undo where one is possible. Some actions, such as deleting temporary files, can't be undone, and Revive tells you before doing them. You decide what runs through the autopilot setting and by approving fixes.

Revive never turns off antivirus and never deletes your personal files. Still, every PC is different: keep backups of anything important, as you would with any software that changes system settings.

5. AI features

Ask, Voice and the AI diagnosis use a third-party AI service (Google Gemini). Answers can be wrong. Revive only acts on a suggestion after you tap Apply, and the same safety rules apply as for any other fix. See the privacy notes for what is sent.

6. Acceptable use

Don't reverse engineer the licensing, use Revive to harm others, or use it on computers you aren't allowed to manage.

7. Warranty and liability

Revive is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Revive in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you before it applies. You can stop using Revive at any time by uninstalling it. We may end a licence that breaks these terms.
