Draft

This is a plain-language draft awaiting legal review. It is not yet final and may change before Revive's public release.

Revive is built to do its work on your PC. This page explains what it looks at, what it sends and to whom, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, email hello@revive.example.

In short

  • Checks and fixes run on your PC. Revive never reads, uploads or changes your documents, photos or other files.
  • Ask and Voice send your question, and a short description of the PC with names removed, to Google Gemini to write an answer.
  • The “Hey Revive” wake word is optional and is heard on your PC. No audio leaves the PC until you talk to Revive.
  • We don't sell your data, and this website uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

What Revive reads on your PC

To find what slows a PC down, Revive reads system information: startup apps, services, scheduled tasks, memory and processor use, disk space, temperatures and battery health, drivers and update status, and security settings such as whether real-time protection is on. In Creator and Developer mode it also measures the size of app caches and build folders. This stays on your PC.

Revive keeps a local history of the changes it makes, so it can undo them, and a health timeline. Both stay on your PC until you uninstall Revive.

What leaves your PC, and when

AI diagnosis, Ask and Voice

When AI is on, Revive sends a description of the machine and its findings to Google's Gemini service to explain problems and suggest fixes. Your Windows user name and computer name are removed before anything is sent, and file paths are shortened (for example C:\Users\<user>).

With Voice, audio from your microphone is streamed to Gemini Live only while you're talking to Revive: after you press the mic, while you hold the shortcut, or after the wake word. The wake word itself is detected on your PC.

You can turn AI off in Settings. The checks and fixes keep working with Revive's offline rules. On work PCs, IT can turn AI off by policy.

Licences and payments

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record: they process your payment and your billing details under their own privacy policy. To activate a licence, Revive sends the key and a name for this PC to the licensing service, so a key can be limited to its number of PCs.

Updates

Revive checks for new versions over the internet. This request includes the version you have and nothing that identifies you.

Work / IT

On a managed PC, your organisation may configure Revive to write an audit log (computer and user name, and what changed) and to send scan summaries to its own servers. That data goes to your organisation, not to us. Your IT team's own policy applies.

This website

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and reliability, for a short time.

Your choices and rights

  • Turn AI, Voice and the wake word on or off in Settings at any time.
  • Uninstall Revive to remove its local history and settings.
  • Ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (mostly your order email) by writing to hello@revive.example.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll say so here and in the app before it takes effect.
